Now onboarding · Founding Tailor cohort · 50 spots

22 years of skill.
And one December almost took everything.

StitchFYN gives Nigerian tailors the one thing fabric, thread, and talent cannot: proof.

Every fabric recorded from drop-off to collection, and nobody can change the record. Your reputation, documented.

Free during the founding period · No card required · Works on any smartphone

If you have been tailoring for more than one season, you know this pattern.

01

Customer drops fabric. You accept the order. Nothing is written down except the measurements.

02

More orders arrive. December comes. You are sleeping three hours a night trying to honour every commitment.

03

Fabric piles up. Some bags are unlabelled. You remember everything — until you don't.

04

Event day arrives. The customer calls. Then she arrives. Then her husband arrives. Then his brothers arrive.

05

You are standing on your own street, in front of your neighbours, with no evidence of anything.

You never meant to hurt anyone. The system was broken. StitchFYN fixes the system.

These are not statistics. These are people.

Iya Bisi

Mushin · 22 years of tailoring

December. 34 orders. Two fabrics mixed up. A customer arrived with her husband and two brothers, claiming ₦400,000 in damages. Iya Bisi had no evidence to show anyone.

With StitchFYN, she opens her phone and shows exactly which fabric she has, who it belongs to, and when it arrived.

Segun

Auchi · Mid-range fashion designer, 3 staff

A customer claimed he swapped expensive Guinea Brocade for cheaper material. Segun never photographed the fabric. He paid ₦350,000 to make the police report go away.

A single fabric photo — timestamped, customer-confirmed — would have ended the dispute before it started.

Adaeze

Lagos · Office administrator, wedding on June 15th

She submitted six yards of royal blue French lace worth ₦185,000. She received it back unfinished, the night before her wedding, with a zipper that wouldn't close. She smiled in the photos. She cried the whole way to church.

StitchFYN flags the order as at risk well before the event — and her order link shows her exactly which stage it is in, with photos of the work.

Maryam

Kaduna · Final-year student, first-class convocation

She saved three months to buy her convocation gown fabric. The shop was locked when she came to collect. The number went to voicemail. She wore a borrowed dress to her own first-class ceremony.

The Fabric Safety Seal is issued the moment she confirms her fabric: a digital receipt anyone can check.

This should never happen to another tailor. Or another customer.

How it works

From fabric drop-off to collection — every step on record

  1. 1

    Intake, photographed

Whether the customer brings their own fabric or you cut from your stock, photograph it when the order is taken. The customer confirms it from their own phone — no app to install. A Fabric Safety Seal is issued the moment they confirm.

  2. 2

Three checks before a single cut

Production cannot start until the deposit is recorded, the fabric is confirmed and the design brief is agreed. No more "that's not what I asked for".

  3. 3

    Production, one tap per stage

Cutting, sewing, fitting, finishing — each tailor sees the garments assigned to them and moves each one forward in seconds. Quality control needs a photo before it can be signed off.

  4. 4

    Collection, with proof

A final quality review, then collection is recorded. Your customer followed every stage, with progress photos, on their own order link, so nobody is surprised on the day.

What StitchFYN actually does

You do not need more software. You need less chaos.

Fabric is never in dispute again

Every fabric is photographed at intake — one tap, under 30 seconds. The customer confirms from their own phone. Nobody can edit the record afterwards. The fabric is on record before a single stitch is cut.

Your December is manageable

StitchFYN shows you which orders are most urgent and flags the ones at risk of missing their date. You set how many orders you can handle, with a different limit for festive peaks, and StitchFYN warns you before you accept one order too many.

Disputes end with evidence

When a customer disputes fabric, they are disputing their own confirmed photo. Export the full evidence record as one PDF: fabric, brief, payments, production, messages and a signed history of every action. No lawyer. No shouting match.

Everything else your workshop runs on

Customer order link

Each customer gets a private link to follow every stage, see progress photos and message you. Fewer "is it ready?" calls.

Group & aso-ebi orders

Weddings and family events run as one group: fabric intake for every member, a lead tailor, and one shared link for the coordinator.

Deposits & payments

Every naira recorded against the order it belongs to. No more arguments about what was paid.

Staff with the right access

Invite your team by email or a link you send on WhatsApp. Tailors see only the work assigned to them.

Order messages on record

Conversations about an order stay with the order, attributed to whoever sent them.

StitchScore

Your on-time record and repeat customers, turned into a reputation you can show.

Reports that answer real questions

Which stages slow you down, which tailor is fastest, what was paid and who still owes.

Customer's fabric or your stock

Take orders on fabric the customer brings, or on stock from your vault, which is reserved automatically.

Disputes settled on record

A customer reports a problem from their link; you resolve it with notes, and every step joins the evidence.

Built and verified — not promised

0

Time to update a production stage. One tap. No forms.

0

Fabric intake documented. One photo. Customer confirms from their phone.

0

In every evidence PDF, from the fabric record to proof that nothing was changed.

0

Deposit, fabric and design brief — cleared before production can start.

Fabric Safety Seal

When a customer confirms their fabric, StitchFYN issues a Fabric Safety Seal: a digital certificate with its own code. She can share it in the family WhatsApp group, and anyone with the code can check it.

Built for Nigerian networks

StitchFYN was built for Nigerian workshops, not Silicon Valley offices. When your connection drops, stage updates and fabric photos wait on your phone and send themselves when you are back online.

  • Install it to your home screen like an app
  • Works on any modern smartphone browser
  • Your customers need no app — just a link

The Founding Tailor cohort

StitchFYN is live. We are onboarding 50 tailors to run it in their workshops first.

Two smiling tailors at a sewing machine in their workshop

This is not a demo. Founding Tailors use StitchFYN on real orders, with real customers, in real workshops — and we are beside them while they do. We are looking for tailors who have lived this: who have stood on their street in front of their neighbours, who have paid money they should not have paid, who have done the work and never been believed.

Your feedback decides what we fix and build next. Your December is the standard we hold every feature to.

Questions tailors ask us

How much does it cost?

Nothing during the founding period. No card is needed to apply. Before the founding period ends, we will tell every Founding Tailor what pricing looks like — well in advance, and never as a surprise.

Do I need a computer?

No. StitchFYN runs in the browser on any modern smartphone, and you can add it to your home screen like an app. A laptop works too, if you have one.

Do my customers need to download anything?

No. Customers confirm their fabric and follow their order through a private link. That is all they need.

What happens when my network is bad?

Stage updates and fabric photos are saved on your phone and sent automatically when your connection comes back. You can keep working.

Can my staff use it?

Yes. You invite your managers, front desk and tailors by email, or send them their invite link on WhatsApp. Each person gets access that matches their role, and tailors see only the garments assigned to them. Every action is recorded against the person who took it.

Why can't I just sign up now?

Every Founding Tailor workspace is created by our team. When you first sign in, a short setup takes you through your workshop address and capacity, your production stages and inviting your first staff member, and then you are ready to take your first order. Apply below and we will reach you on WhatsApp.

My customers bring their own fabric. Does that work?

Yes. Choose "Customer's own fabric" when you take the order and record how much they brought. If you sell fabric too, register it in your vault and it is reserved when an order uses it. Either way, the fabric is photographed and confirmed by the customer.

Who can see my records?

Only your workshop. Each business's orders, customers and evidence are kept separate from every other business on StitchFYN. A customer sees only their own order.
